Welcome to my Web gallery.
Thanks for visiting and Happy New Year! After a 4 month hiatus from painting due to no studio space, I am off and running in my new studio at 311 West Martin Street Studios and Galleries in Raleigh's warehouse district. I'm looking forward to creating new pieces and finishing a few that were put on hold. I hope everyone has a healthy, joyful, peaceful and creative 2012!
My abstract artists' group, the ChromaZones, has just completed our 6th collaborative piece and we have some new group exhibits lined up over the next several months.
Information on upcoming shows and events and images of my more recent work can be viewed in the What's New Section, which I try to update every few months.
And for those unfamiliar with my musical endeavors, please check out my band, mollybond, at mollybondmusic.com We're heading back into the studio and should have a new full-length CD available late spring or early summer.
Prairie Storms Prints Update
Although I am no longer affiliated with Etsy, my prints are still available for purchase. Print images, along with size and pricing information, can be viewed here on my website in Gallery One . I can have prints made of any piece of original work in a range of sizes, not just those offered in Gallery One. As always, the original artwork on my website, unless otherwise indicated, is also available for sale. If you’re interested in a particular piece, or would like to have a print made of a piece that I don't offer, please email me at my website email address: marysartgallery@marystorms.com.
Blog Update
In January 2010, I started a blog, with hopes of showcasing local artists and musicians, but unfortunately life got in the way, and I never got beyond the first post. I haven't entirely given up on the idea, but based on my continued crazy schedule, its just not in the cards right now. However, if you're at all curious about how I create some of my collages, my first blog post provides a glimpse into the process and the materials I use. You can visit it at Prairie Storms Blog
